I FINALLY found a hamburger I love that I didn’t cook. I have not found a burger that I liked, much less loved, in over 2 years. I won’t name any places but I have been to many in Blacksburg and Christiansburg. I have eaten at The Maroon Door twice and have enjoyed everything. I had the Orville’s TD Burger and my husband had the Scoville Burger. Both cooked to perfection. We will be back very soon! Thank you for such a wonderful place a wide variety of food. P.S the Tipsy Cake Trifle is worth trying too! I don’t often have dessert but I will have that again AND won’t split it next time. ?‍♀️

Fantastic fresh and local food, great employees, and even better beer. Can't beat the location, as it's an easy walk from almost anywhere in town. All the tables are responsibly socially distanced and they have outdoor seating with heaters as it gets colder. The atmosphere is one of a kind and I'm excited to bring my friends here to show them this new gem in the Burg. Keep up the good work.

Tried this on its grand opening day when it was super packed and it was a great experience. Tables were spaced out, spaces were clean and neat, and service was spectacular. Our server Nick, seemed really busy, however, he was still very attentive and delivered superior service. The food took a little longer, but it was worth the wait! We had the mozzarella bites, spicy chicken sandwich, and the scoville burger (must try if you enjoy spicy foods), as well as the cheesecake. Everything was perfectly seasoned and tasty!! Also, try their New To You beer, it was light and fresh. Will be coming back soon!

This locally owned gastro pub and the in-house microbrewery are just fantastic. Every brew in the flight was unique, flavorful without relying on over hopping to stand out: and as crisp as a fall apple from the tree. My favorite was the Belgian ale.
The appetizers and entrees are completely unique creations of their genius chef.
Sorry no pics of the mozzarella bites with Fra Diavolo, Fig Syrup, & Basil Oil or my wild mushroom burger - Sautéed Wild Mushrooms, Field Greens, Tomato, Grilled Onions,
Whitegate Farm Raw Cheddar Cheese, & Spent Grain Bun.

I'm gonna try a different bun next time. Spent grain can easily overwhelm the umami of a great piece of meat.

A neat little establishment downtown. Asian Duck Burger is all I'm saying...
