Harpoon Larry's Fish House & Oyster Bar

I came here for lunch with several coworkers, at their suggestion because I am from out of town. The staff is friendly and helpful. The menu selection is large and diverse so that everyone will find something they are able to eat. I ordered the seafood salad with an additional tuna steak ... and it was great.

We ordered scallops, raw oysters, shrimp, and crab. Food came out quickly and tasted fresh. The sauces are pretty good and are a nice change from the standard cocktail sauce. Service was impeccable. Highly recommend this restaurant, and we'll be returning soon.

Update: Changed to 5 stars...the She Crab Salmon is phenomenal! I've had it several times and so have my friends. We all love it and it's always perfectly cooked.

Overall it's a nice place. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, decent food, good selection of beer/drinks. I recommend the fish tacos and oyster po boy.

We had a great time at Harpoon Larry's. We celebrated my father's retirement with a laid back meal. The food was great. Our server, Kevin, was a lot of fun and very helpful. We each had very different tastes and there was something for everyone. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

First, the service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and timely, even while attending to a large group at another table. And the food... I thought the prices were high until I got my plate. Got the Captain's Platter, oysters were the best I've had. Crab cake meaty, scallops cooked to perfection and tender. And the shrimp, so good! Hush puppies done right! Everyone in the party loved what they got. We got the cheesecake and the key lime pie for dessert to split. I am a southern girl from Florida and that is the best key lime pie I've ever had. I highly recommend this place! Price well worth the quality.
