This is fresh and hot pizza! Some of the best pizza this side of the Mississippi! The sauce is great very tomatoey, the cheese is fresh just like from the dairy and the bread is just yum! This location has newly opened in Denbigh section of Newport News, VA
Pizza is great staff is great, owner is so sweet and hardworking. The manager Regina Quinn, however is something else. Regina works hard and knows how to make it feel like family until she makes a mistake. I ordered a pizza and cinnasquares for delivery, as a customer rather than an employee, but I forgot to correct the address nor was the address confirmed with me. Regina was the driver at the time and she dropped off the pizza with out recieving payment in the first place. I went to the store to re-order and pay for my new order. She demanded I pay for the order that she dropped off without payment in the first place. I declined and paid for the pizza I got and she followed me to my car and tried to keep me from getting in my car and she tried to reach inside my car to get my pizza. She called the police and they saw my receipt of payment and nothing came of it except that now I am banned from the store. Really Regina ????
I first visited Marco's several months ago. I have been back to Marco's four times in the last three weeks. There's a new manager and a whole new staff. The staff recognizes me and the owner always asks about my experience and is very professional. The new staff is always smiling, the food is great, and comes out fast. I think if you eat there now versus months ago, you'll have a whole new experience.
The pizza was good when they first opened. Now the staff has become too relaxed and the quality of the pizza is slowly going down. Not to mention the store is no place to keep a child around the stoves. The last visit the store was dirty and it was only one guy working a 45 minute wait for a pizza. I'm done with Marco's...
