Very impressed with the exceptional food, portion sizes, and especially the owner's willingness to explain the food, origins of the food (samples of the food from many countries), and his recommendations. The owner also placed several options together for our appetizer as other reviewers stated, and I highly recommend asking him to do the same. All of the food was flavorful and cooked perfectly, and was an exact match to the food found in middle eastern countries. Do not be distracted by the outside appearance, this is a great option for an enjoyable meal and fun dining experience. Well deserved 5 stars.

This is the spot you come to if you want a homemade plate of authentic Kebabs! The kebabs and rice are all cooked to perfection. The owner is also very welcoming and hospitable, I promise you will not be disappointed.

At first, I was a little apprehensive about this place. From the outside, the building looked janky and on the inside, it looked old and smelled like my grandma’s house. Based off that alone, I was ready to be disappointed. But I was pleasantly surprised! The owner was very kind and personable. He knows how to treat a customer. Since it was was our first time there, he took the time to explain the entire menu to us. He brought us some bread, which was was piping hot and the dipping sauces were super yummy! I got the lamb kabobs and they were beyond delicious. The spices and herbs were on point and everything was cooked perfectly. The rice was flavorful and fluffy. This place definitely a diamond in the rough!

Pricey, overcooked, but cordial host and decent bread.

For Lamb nearby I will continue to go to Crown Fried Chicken. The Lamb is always moist/juicy.

For Kebabs and Persian restaurant experiences, I'd rather drive 4 hours to Ocean City, MD for the kebab place in the mall or 10 hours to Tabouleh Cafe in Northeast Jacksonville, FL. Both places offer more meat for the price with the kebab still being succulent/moist. Ishtar in Boise, Idaho IS BETTER than Saffron in Hilton Village.

Thoroughly disappointed as I had higher expectations, considering the price point.

This plate is $18.50. other places I've been would have delivered 1.5 to 2 times the amount of meat seen here.

I appreciate my dining host and the restaurant is quaint and quiet. But this is my first and last visit.

I can't remember the name of the dish but will be back for more. It was an eggplant stew with tomatoes, onions, spices and a side of delicious rice. My husband had salmon shish-kabob. He loved it! Highly recommend
