Sal's has the BEST pizza selections in town! The employees are all so friendly and welcoming. Trust you will not be disappointed when you have Sals!!!!!
I always get the 12" grinder with fries. Love it.
Good food and great service. I recommend Sal's to anyone looking for some great tasting food.
By far the best Italian restaurant in Newport News. I come here often on my lunch break and food and service is always amazing. It always has a warm and friendly atmosphere and you can definitely tell that they care about the quality of their food. If your looking for NY style pizza, this place is it. You cant go wrong with anything on their menu, which is very extensive btw. They have anything you could ask for as far as food and hospitality in an Italian restaurant, and the desserts are to die for. I also recommend trying the garlic knots, just trying them once will make you crave them often! Your missing out if you haven't been to Sal's NY Pizza yet.
I ordered the lasagna, it was 75% sauce, 20% pasta and cheese but then i had to search for the meat. This didn't look like the photo on the menu. The dish didn't taste bad but it looked thrown together. I would also suggest serving the garlic knots instead of a crusty, tough piece of sub bread. Presentation is everything.
My husband ordered a large pizza and although the pizza was made to order, the recipe for the dough makes for a hard crust. The flyer brought me in, but I doubt we'll return.
Fantastic NY style pizza. Accommodated Us by making half cheese pizza and half pizza with no red sauce. Waitress had called off and the owner ran himself ragged helping us out to make our visit awesome
