Smoke BBQ Restaurant & Bar

My husband and I went for our anniversary and we were so pleased. This restaurant is absolutely beautiful and the food is AMAZING!! The half chicken fell apart so perfectly and everything was so flavorful. The pricing is very do-able especially considering the quality and quantity of food you’re getting! The staff were all very friendly, quick, and observant of things. This is possibly the best restaurant i’ve been to since living in VA. 10/10 would recommend!

Just visited for my birthday. They were having a trivia night which was pretty cool. Food here is the best in town, in my opinion. You can tell their dedication to serving a great meal. Oh and my margarita was absolutely great. I will be back a million times. Great place

Excellent place all around. Barbecue is amazing, drinks are always good (well curated draft beer list and cocktails), and the ambiance is amazing. My friends guarantee their wings are the best around. Best outdoor eating space in Newport news! You feel like you are in a private garden on their deck.

We received amazing service here! It was busy, but we were seated almost immediately. We were waited on promptly and our food was served hot and exactly as ordered. Our party of 5 each had a different entree and they each looked so good! If we're back in the area we will definitely be stopping by again!

I'm going to say upfront I was looking for a BBQ cooked.in a vinegar based sauce. This IS NOT the place to get what I was looking to find. What I did have was good but because of the way it's cooked I would have liked it to have been served while.hot. The French fries I had were just okay, nothing impressive at all. The BBQ beans were far and away the most impressive part of my meal. My dinner companion had the pulled pork sandwich, collards and a seasonal vegetable which was zucchini with onions which she enjoyed very much. Our server was excellent and friendly enough.. Please understand I'm rating Smoke strictly as a restaurant, not a bar.
