Wonderful owners and chefs. Eclectic menu. Never dissapointed. Outdoor and indoor seating. Must try, great for date night. Also have brunch on Sunday.
Absolutely amazing meal as always. The mushroom toast is hands down one of the best dishes in all of Hampton roads
My husband took me to brunch here and I had the absolute best French Toast! My husband had their biscuits and gravy and said they were "pretty damn good" We will be going back for sure!
Fabulous food! I had the basil gnocchi (delicious!) And my husband had the chicken and grits (so flavorful!). Ended with the peach bread pudding. Our server was lovely- attentive but not overly so. A bit loud, though .
Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! We started with the cheese and pickle platter, and we were stunned with the whole presentation. The waitress even obliged our request for more house made everything spiced crackers, but we still ate the rest of the well portioned cheese with our forks. The gorgonzola and garlic cheese was my favorite, and even passed the test with my 11 month old, while my husbands eyes were only for the pimento cheese. Their bar menu is small, but varies widely, and the mixed drinks are intriguing, but we both decided to fall back on our bourbons of choice. We both had the All American Burger, which was juicy and rich, with a subtly tangy bacon jam and perfectly proportioned vegetables toppings. The only flaw I could find was that the plate looked empty with just the burger in the middle, it looked a little awkward. Though, if there had been more than us two, we would have ordered the family sized sides, which probably would have accompanied the burgers nicely and filled in that empty space. To finish, we had a couple cups of coffee with our desserts: the peach bread pudding and the chocolate creme, both topped with homemade whipped cream that was not too sweet and heavenly. It's hard to find a good spot that is comfortable, homey, and better than mom's cooking, but we've found that, and more, at Clementines. We will definitely be going back again and will always recommend this heaven on earth to anyone who asks where to eat great food in Norfolk.
The best part: you won't break your bank, but the food tastes like you're eating what royalty eats.
