Croaker's Spot Norfolk

Food was on point and nice size portions. We weren't waiting long either and they were busy! Our server Malik was the best! He gets 5 stars just on his own! 5 stars to the entire staff as well

An Amazing experience, the food is GREAT! The portions are huge and everything is cooked to perfection. This restaurant is a seafood for the SOUL! Our waitress was great also. If you are looking for some great southern seafood, do not think twice. Arrive here, you will not be disappointed.

My food was always brought out in reasonable time! The servers are always amazing and Dietra (bartender) makes me feel welcomed every time. Very beautiful soul! I always enjoy myself there! God bless to all the employees there. Excellent service!!!

I'm currently at the Croaker Spot, and have been here for 2 hours so far. Have not received any of our party's orders. The wait time to be seated wasn't terrible for a party of 10, but we placed orders after we were seated, which was about an hour. I don't expect to wait an hour plus on food at a restaurant with a party of 10. It seems that there just isn't enough wait staff. I plan to update once we actually receive our food orders.
The ambience is nice. There was live music which was definitely enjoyable, although a little loud. Sound was at about 89db which is bearable.
Update 9:16p : The food arrived at around the 2 hour mark from our arrival. Aside from the slow service, the food was definitely good. Not 2 hour wait good, but good nonetheless.
Update #2: When our checks came our waitress apologized for our long wait, without any prompting by us, and they also offered a discount for the inconvenience. This was much appreciated since we didn't mention the wait to the staff at all. Updated the rating to reflect our appreciation.

Been here twice only because I'm on the peninsula and it's a long drive, but the food and service is worth it! Everyone is courteous, and the food is amazing. I always sit at the bar and the bartender is amazing too! She always has a drink of the day and pairings to go with your meals. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. I definitely recommend.
