Damn good sandwiches in an unlikely setting. Order at the counter, take to go or eat at one of the few tables. Cheese steak was better than most I've had in the area, and generous on the portion. Fries had some kind of seasoning on them, not just salt, I liked it but it might be weird if you're not expecting it.
Down on business from the philly area.. Always skeptical about places comparing themselves against the home of cheesesteaks. To my surprise, it was a good damn sandwich... you can tell they use chopped ribeye, the bread is softer then in philly, which I actually liked more. Seasoned perfectly.. Not going to lie, wish they were closer to Delaware so we could finally het a good sandwich and not have to travel to philly to get one! Haha
The BEST in Norfolk!!! I ordered thru Door Dash and could not believe how fresh and hot the food was. The food was seasoned and filling! That's not even the best part, it was the amazing customer service I received from Romi, who works in the store, absolutely incredible!!! I feel like I'm family now!! Fat Philly's is the only bodega in VA that I will ever acknowledge.
I love their Philly Sandwiches Fat Philly's the best in town is better than that other place I'm not going to mention any names but I think there's sandwiches disgusting go to Fat Philly's give it a try and compare
You wouldn’t think it due to the look of the place. But this grill/deli inside a convenience store is actually some of the best philly cheese steak sandwiches you can get in the area. They use quality meat that isn’t overly greasy and it’s spiced right, combined with the bread which is a proper Italian roll (hard crust warm soft middle) this sandwich is exactly what you’d expect in a cheese steak. And the price is actually really good too. After tax for a foot long fries and a drink it came out to $10 even. I’ve had it a number of times now and plan to make it a regular thing. The only negative things I’d say about the place is one of the guys seems to be rude (like in a New York standard way) and the place being a convenience store seems to draw some ghetto trash from the area. But neither are enough of a bother to keep me away.
