This was my favorite dish from them, and I would go there just for this soup. The ribs and crab cakes weren't particularly spectacular, but there was nothing wrong with them. The portion was just right for all the food - neither too big or too small. The cocktail drinks (Podunk Punch and Bittersweet Holiday) had the right amount of sweetness.

So the Abbey has made the trip to Norfolk even more interesting. The old building really takes you back in time and makes you feel like you're in a History Channel episode. The she crab soup was tasty and would definitely give hometown Charleston a battle. They were great with social distancing and cleaning after guest left.

Amazing "George Bailey" Irish Coffee Christmas special. The She Crab soup was phenomenal. I have never had more delicious fried green tomatoes. Top that off with a warm atmosphere and great service. What more can you ask for?

Once again a great experience. My wife and I go here once a year on the week of our anniversary if we are in town and it is always a pleasure. Our reservations are always greeted promptly and the service is excellent. This night we had the pleasure of Todd as our server and he was over all a great server and, added to the charm of the evening with his unique wit. Wild game night on Fridays are always looked forward too. Tonight was wild boar, it was excellent. The wife had the prime rib which is always a great staple. Once again such an experience. I definitely would rate this restaurant a go to destination. If you are ever in Norfolk.

I took my father for dinner on his birthday. The staff were friendly and helpful. He received a souvenir glass which was cool and unexpected. The atmosphere was nice.

The crab cakes were not good at all and I made the mistake of choosing that. The seafood fantasia was good, the steak was good, just don't get the crab cakes.
