Genghis Khan Mongolian Bar B Q

There are a few Mongolian places throughout Hampton Roads, but none as good as Genghis Kahn! Of course it all depends on your personal tastes, and, maybe where you had your first Mongolian BBQ experience. I've tried many of these places but8 knothing tops Genghis on Military Hwy in Norfolk! I've bean visiting this place occasionally for many years. There's just nowhere else that provides the right combination and amounts of sauces to compliment the ingredients you choose to use . The result is unbeatable ! They've been around a long, long time and they're the best!!! That's why they'll always get five stars from me!

A local favorite. This place sets the bar high for lo mein. It doesn't have the most impressive appearance but the food is ALWAYS so good. It's my go-to place for birthdays. All you can eat is the way to go. Don't judge it until you try it, seriously. So good...

A "family" run business that's very clean on the inside despite it's old, outside appearance. It's essentially a hibachi style grill. Not exactly an expansive selection of vegetables (no mushrooms or baby corn...) and overall, I felt limited in the outcome of my created dishes. The staff is indeed super friendly. Other customers seemed to enjoy this place too.

My favorite small restaurant. Love the prices, love the food. Absolutely amazing food. They make the best hot and sour soup I've ever had. The staff is always friendly. Well worth the trip. Don't let the location deceive you. Seriously go try them.

You can never go wrong with a place where you choose your own ingredients. The sauces you mix in determines the taste, but getting all of them is the only way to go. Great for a 1 time up lunch, or unlimited time up dinner. I dropped the stars down to 4, because I just realized, they stopped giving out the chocolate chip and macadamia and white chocolate cookies when they bring your bill. Can we get that back?
