Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood & Bar

Our friend chose Hook & Reel for her birthday. There was a large group of us and they made sure we had plenty of servers! Friendly staff, service was good, and the manager checked on us a few times as well. Side note: gratuity was auto added to all of our bills at 18%. Now to food - the calamari I heard was very good, I ordered shrimp (no heads) and muscles in their Hook & Reel sauce, spicy and added sausage. I was not fond of having to pay extra for the sausage, nonetheless it was all delicious! Others in our party, at my table, ordered snow crab legs, clams, shrimp ( with and without heads) in a few different sauces and no one had any complaints! I'd go back, eventually.

Had such a good time! Phil, our server answered all of our questions with honesty and patience and everything came out amazing and in a timely manner. We had the boil with shrimp and crab and it was otherworldly. I suggest getting the hook and reel sauce, it was so flavorful and creamy. The shrimp Po boy came with fries and they were both perfect! definitely will be coming back with friends, and asking for Phil!

Great place! Excellent service with great boil consisting of either a big boil or little boil. Big gets you two sides of protein while the mini only one. You choose a "sauce," level of spiciness, and finally any extra toppings (at extra charge). Our waitress Autumn was the bomb. Very attentive, gregarious, and constantly checking up on us. Definitely give this place a try.

First visit, immediate 5-star first impression. Ordered both flounder and oyster baskets; both delivered hot and tasted very fresh. Oysters nicely clean, flounder curled when fried as only fresh fish will do. Tasty, hot fries. Bonus were server Autumn and manager Mike. We'll return for one of their shrimp boil offerings. Seating every third table, saw crew continuously cleaning restaurant. Give this new place a try!
