It is close to my office and i visit here once in a week, its is halal food and tastes so good that you always want to comeback again. Give it a try and you will not regret ????
We were visiting VA Beach, and wanted to try something new.
We started with the "os so good" fish patties, and that lead to our mains in poulet braise, dibi grilled lamb and poisson frit and lamb schwarma. The food was phenomenal. Every last bite. I will be honest I was not expecting to be surprised by the flavors, but Senegalese food is now a definite on my pallet. This will now be a staple visit whenever we are in the area!
I ordered the Poisson Frit with jollof rice and cabbage with sorrel to drink. Everything was cooked to perfection and the dish was VERY flavorful. Place was clean, service was fast...the sorrel didn’t taste like west indie sorrel (cloves, orange peels, etc) but was still sweet and drinkable. Fish had mostly large bones and removing the back bone was easy. It was my first time eating a whole fish and I had no problem. Definitely enough for two. The pictures posted look exactly like what you will get.
Never had Senegalese food before and this was a great introduction. Food was amazing, plentiful and fresh. Will definitely go back.
Delicious food! Today was my first time there; I had the fish yassa and couscous; I ate everything but the bones of the fish! Perfectly marinated and grilled. The couscous was a lot, I could only eat half the plate. Short wait time, too!
