Mi Tierra Mayas

We were just driving by looking for a place for lunch. We decided to take a chance that Tierra Mayas was going to be good Mexican food. It was delicious and very authentic. The service was great! We are from out of town, but if we lived in Norfolk this would be the spot we would be out new favorite place !

Good drinks, weird atmosphere

We stopped by for lunch today. My husband had the verde enchilada and I had the chicken nachos. Both were seasoned well and fresh. Would definitely make a point to come by again. There is a slight language barrier if your not fluent in Spanish. Got excellent service from several staff members. If your looking for traditional Latin food than it doesn't get better.

I had the Chicken Fajitas and they were very good. My guest order a Super Burrito with beef, but was served chicken. He liked it. The menu said it came with french fries which he never got. With soda and 2 Bud Lights, it was $38 plus tip.

Authentic Mexican food. Great prices and friendly service. The food is great and plentiful servings. You owe it to yourself to visit. Definetly worth the trip. Enjoy.
Update !! This place has become my go to restaurant. Sometimes there is a language barrier. So it's a 50/50 shot that you will get what you order. ( kind of like a cracker jack prize). But even when I get something I didn't order. It's still unbelievably good !! The best Burritos I've had since Tijuana !!
