No Frill Bar And Grill

Oh my yum!! Hubby and I stopped in for brunch and was blown away by the service and tasty goodness. Portions are HUGE and flavorful. Shout out to our server, Emily. She was on point. We will definitely be back.

This place has a very accommodating menu for all diets. I ordered the veggie Reuben with onion rings and ended up with a happy plate. Waitstaff was very attentive. The restaurant is uniquely decorated with lots of window views and cozy tables. Will return!

When relatives in town, we wanted great food at affordable prices and good customer service and No Frills came through! Everyone found something to love and our kids had so much fun with our sever who was kind and attentive to both our babes. We enjoy the nachos, the salads, and the hummus best of all, but still have so much on the menu left to try! Love eating here. The food is good and very reasonable. The staff has been friendly and helpful. I always take my family there

Good food great dessert, wouldn't recommend the crab cakes but the shrimp were very nice. Over all no complaints other than a bit of a drive from the beach. But they can't help that. Price was fair. Service was fine. Nothing amazing nothing bad.

No Frill was a great as usual this past Friday night. My husband and son both had the Spotswood Melt (named for the road across the street that runs by their middle school) It's on grilled Texas Toast with a hamburger and bacon with two kinds of cheese and nothing else. My son always gets it and my husband hadn't had it in awhile. Neither plate had a scrap left on it. My son always says it's the best burger he's ever had. I agree. But this time I felt like comfort food, so I had the meatloaf with smashed potatoes and sauteed green beans (perfectly done). There is so much in the plate (a HUGE slab of meatloaf) that I had leftovers for Saturday. On the way home my son said that whoever got to it first could have it. No way! It was just as good heated up as it originally was. We love this place. We've been going to No Frill since we moved to Norfolk 33 yrs ago. It's a great place to have friends meet us for dinner.
