    This place was great. I was sure what to get so I got the platter and every piece of meat was perfect. I will definitely be going back. If you've never been here you need to get up and go right now because you will absolutely love it!!!!

    If you want real and the best barbecue in all of the tidewater area, please try this place. Amazing! Great service and delicious! They have the BEST BRISKET I HAVE EVER HAD!!!

    Absolutely fabulous!! Pulled pork Sammich Platter with Pit smoked beans and crinkle fries. I never knew crinkle fries could be so good! Fast and friendly service. Definitely put this place on your must do list. Everything on the menu looks great so it will take several trips.

    Amazing brisket! This was our first time in and the meats were juicy and flavorful. Especially loved the Espresso BBQ! Nice baked beans and selection of beers on tap. They have limited inside seating, and a covered patio.

    I love smoked BBQ and Redwood Smoke Shack is the best in Tidewater. Redwood's provides amazing brisket. It gets quite busy therefore I recommend either arriving promptly at opening (11AM) or plan a meal toward the end of a lunch / dinner hour. You'll pay a generous fee but will receive terrific food that's smoked to perfection. I highly recommend!
