I like soup. And they do it really well. In the past few months have had Hot & Sour with White Fish, Salmon Chowder, Potato Leek, Crab and Corn Chowder, Gumbo, Vegan Creamy Tomato, Vegan Pumpkin Tortilla, Chicken Noodle (Asian), Beef Veg., Lamb and Chick Pea, Lamb and Couscous, Peach Gazpacho, Chicken & Biscuit, Turkey & Rice, Mushroom & Wild Rice, Butternut Squash, Split Pea with Ham, and more, including one with shrimp and vegetables in a thin tomato broth that I loved and cannot recall the name of. Only a couple of misses since I've been going (none that are mentioned above)--really not worth mentioning. The menu states (or used to, haven't looked recently) that you have a choice of rosemary biscuit or toast with the soup. And you do, but the default is the little rosemary biscuit which is just enough for three of four bites and I usually crumble it into the soup. And while the variety of soup (over time) is impressive, it's only worth noting because everything is prepared so perfectly. Not a hint of anything commercial or packaged. One of the best places in Norfolk.

This was my first visit and I will definitely be back! The ham biscuit was dynamite and the pumpkin tortilla soup is a little spicy and divine. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch!

Great food, nice staff. The only issue was that our food came out at completely different times so that I was practically done by the time my companion got her food. Highly recommend the coconut smoothie, it tastes great, has little bits of coconut in it and the coconut is not overpowering. Also recommend the Belgian waffle and the avocado toast.

Have not had a bad experience here. Only down fall is that it can get pricey. Great Staff!, awesome specials and delicious food. Perfect for business meeting lunches downtown or just to get out of the office. Everything taste fresh and are perfect portions.
