My husband and I went to Varia for a celebratory dinner and had the best experience! Not only was the food amazing but the service was outstanding. In addition to our server providing us with an incredible dessert we were congratulated by every staff member that night! We walked away full and happy. There is not a better place for a romantic night out or to celebrate any occasion!

Great location (inside Hilton Norfolk -The Main), excellent wine selection, fantastic service, but okay food. The food was slow to come out and was a bit lackluster. The presentation of all drinks, appetizers, menus, and entrees were beautiful, but the taste left much to be desired. The pasta sauce tasted contrived, as if it was from a jar or very very overcooked, and underseasoned. The vegetables were soggy, and the flavor bland. If you are headed out for drinks, this is absolutely your place. I suggest you get dinner elsewhere first.

The food and cocktails are already fantastic, but on top of that, the most stand-out feature of this place is a staff of exceptional kindness and deportment. Every interaction is pleasant and both times I've eaten here, the staff has cordially helped me navigate hosting situations that might have otherwise ruined the night. The decor is wonderful to look at and there's live entertainment, too.

Great place! There was live music with a singer that had an amazing voice. Had the braised lamb, was okay. The eggplant parmigiana was amazing! The Sangria was really good, strong and sweet. The service was great also! I sat at the bar and was served by Vaughn. He knew every item on the menu and could describe it in perfect detail from ingredients to how it was served and portion size. I highly recommend and can't wait to come back again!

Excellent menu items! We loved the atmosphere, service and food. Portion sizes were great. We enjoyed a comfortable evening and will be back again!
