Super friendly staff! Our waitress was very attentive and the portion sizes were excellent. The food was tasty and fresh. They had scrapple! Don't see that too often around anymore. The establishment was very clean and service was fast. Try Tim's Place and you won't be disappointed.

It was okay, we had a party of 12 for a birthday gathering. We had to wait good while for the food.. when some of us got our food it the food was cold..
However I must give a thumbs up to the waitress who was on the floor by herself serving everyone!
I think maybe they just needed a little more help the food was good.

My brother and I had dinner here on a Tuesday night in March 2019. We are senior citizens and tourists. We had driven northbound over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel and we were looking for dinner in Cape Charles. We found Tim's Place on Google Maps. The restaurant has a cute storefront on a commercial block in town. Tim's had a nice homey interior, excellent waitress service, large portions, affordable prices, and good desserts. For dessert we agreed with the waitress' recommendation: we tried the specialty, the Smith Island Cake (baked by a lady who lives on Tangier Island). The cake was superb. For dinner we ordered crab dip appetizer (excellent) and fried flounder platters (good sides .... the flounder fillets were small and thin ... large portions overall). Later in the evening as we explored more of the town, we came upon a beautiful, upscale waterfront restaurant in Cape Charles. We felt disappointed that we had not eaten there, with water views, but we also knew we had made a great choice, going to Tim's.
