Harvest diner

Ordered take out for the first time last night.The girl taking my order was very nervous,she kept apologizing and stated she was new.I reassured her she was doing great and will get the hang of it!When I walked in to get my order the place was spotless and everyone was so nice.The waitress Ashley remembered me from 3 yrs ago from her old job!Got home to unpack my order $19.and change,the portions were huge. 2×Sandwich and fries,soup and side plus crackers and condiments!! We pay that for McDonald's!
We will definitely be ordering from there more often.Only thing I would suggest is a little more meat on the sandwiches!

I have been to Exmore, VA a lot of times since May 2020, traveling from Washington DC and always looked for good food, between dinners and sea food places, never was a 100 % satisfied.
Recently I've noticed a new dinner " Harvest Dinner" on Lankford Hwy. I ordered a house salad with grilled chicken, broccoli bites, a chicken melt and a burger, all my main dishes came with a cup of soup.. The food is the bomb. ALL freshly made, the salad was huge and so delights. I had to come back the next day to pick some more items of the enormous menu. Its totally reasonable pricing and excellent fresh food. On top my waitress/cashier Hasibe was super nice and welcomed me to the new place super friendly. I am impressed. I had to leave this comment, cause excellent service is hard to find. I hope I could make my waitress smile with the tip I left for both days even though I came for pick up. Truly a place to go with your family. BON APETIT!!!! YUMMY

Wow! I wasn’t expecting much for a $12.99 “mini meal” of fried shrimp. It came with a cup of soup, and I ordered cream of crab. Let me tell you, it was delicious! Then the meal came and I was blown away! Had to take 1/2 of it home! I can’t imagine what the full meal would have looked like. And when they say jumbo shrimp, they mean JUMBO! My fiancé got the open faced roast beef sandwich and half of his came home too. We will definitely add this diner into our rotation of restaurants!!

Pleasantly surprised by this little gem of local care. Wasn't expecting much since there weren't many options in Exmore. Glad we took the chance here. Great food, nice sized portions. Friendly staff. If you are local, this should be on your rotation for regular weekly visits. If you are passing through town, give this place a try. You will not be disappointed!
