The Light Well

Stopped here on a bike ride to avoid getting caught in a storm. Didn’t check the reviews but I didn’t need to! Food was absolutely delicious. Everything was so fresh. Coffee was great, staff personable and atmosphere was chill. I’ll definitely stop here again.

The food was incredible, the service was excellent, and the drink options were outstanding. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal immensely, and we hung out for several hours until the restaurant was closing. The staff was friendly and attentive. I'm not in the area very often, but I will be stopping in again next time I come back!

Hidden gem in orange VA. Great local spot with incredible food at reasonable prices and super friendly staff. Will be coming back soon. Hand made pasta and perfect grits were stand outs. Forgot to take pictures because it was too good to stop.

Local food, great service, reasonable prices. What's not to love. Good in the morning with the family or in the evening for a date night. Can't go wrong here. Also they are open Sunday's unlike so many other places in town.

Four of us for dinner. Nice choice of beers. Served nice and cold. Leek and Potato Soup was watery and tasteless, but sandwiches were tasty and generous in proportion. Wait staff gave good service and by the time we left the tables were getting full. We will visit again soon.
