Food is exactly what you might expect. I ordered hamburger steak and the mashed potatoes tasted...homemade. the cooks were involved in the process too, asking us to clarify how we wanted the food cooked. On point.

Down home food... THE WINGS...really good, everything we had was good, no, great. The A/C was having difficulty keeping up, it was a hot day and the place was just recovering from a mad rush of customers when we arrived. Don't let the looks fool you. Honestly, we couldnt get into 2 other eateries and everything else looked not so great. We drove around a bit and Luray is not that big.

Tonight was our first night having dinner at Peyton's place. It was great! We got a chance to speak with the owner and told him how satisfied we were and that our meal was delicious, I had ordered the catfish dinner, my husband had country fried steak and my daughter had fish and chips. Everything was cooked to perfection and there was even good size portions on our plate. The staff was very kind in our waitress friendly and helpful. I definitely give this place 5 stars and we will definitely be back. What a great addition to Luray, finally an extremely great place to eat with friendly people. I definitely recommend you try this place out they serve breakfast lunch and dinner. They also do carry out.

Family friendly. New upcoming restaurant. Awesome food. There is a wait for any food you order because everything is made fresh. Steaks cut in house. Everything home made.

Really enjoyed my dinner at this new restaurant in Luray. My granddaughter and I both ordered fish and it was wonderful. Both the cod and catfish were very fresh and perfectly cooked. The coleslaw and mashed potatoes with gravy were excellent. Our waitress, Joyce , was very attentive, gracious and professional. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable and there is ample parking. Pricing is reasonable and menu is extensive. We will definitely be back soon!
