Happy Mini Mart and Deli, Luray VA

An all stop shop owned by a hardworking Nepali couple. Drive to the store to get some gas, then get some snacks and drinks for your drive. If you are looking to eat your lunch or dinner, this place serves variety of subs in a very reasonable price. And if you are looking for some spicy and delicious meal, they also serve authentic, freshly prepared homemade Indian/Nepali food. A platter consisting of a plateful of special rice, a chicken item, a vegetable item, fresh salad, and desert, all for just $6.99. They also serve variety of delicious side items like Samosa, pakawda, naan, chapati etc. They have few indoor sitting tables for you to enjoy your meal or you can always take the food with you. They also serve bait for fishing and tubes for tubing. You will be amazed with the hospitality shown by the owners. Highly recommend to stop by the shop!

Oh man this place was great! Just as the other reviews indicate it is incredible! I got chicken curry with a chickpea curry, a large amount of saffron rice, and a container of very refreshing coconut rice pudding. It was $6.99, which was a heck of a deal for authentic and spicy curry! How authentic, you may ask? I got a big pepper chunk and a cadmium pod in my chickpea curry, and it was flavorful and potent! The rice pudding had coconut slices in it, and the chicken curry was mild but rich and fragrant. Defitinely recommend to anybody who likes Indian!

Two of the sweetest, most customer-focused business owners I have ever had the pleasure to meet. And the food platters!! Everything smelled so good, it's a wonder anything made it home. Not only are these items delicious individually, but they're paired perfectly so taste buds can enjoy each flavor. LOVE the creaminess of the butter chicken. And the cauliflower / potato curry has a wonderful spicy kick I didn't expect. Also, it's a LOT of food. Very filling. Store is extremely clean and bright. Indian food is only available a few times each week. I hope the owners eventually open a whole restaurant! Excellent and highly recommended!!!
