Very good food. Home cooking. You need to go. Friendly people that work there. 5 stars Best buffet.

My husband and I were passing through on our way from Fort Lee, Virginia, back home to Texas and decided to stop for a quick bite. It has just begun to snow and we wanted to give it a chance to stop before we got back on the road. We were suprised to find the door locked and the closed sign out (it was 5pm and they didn't close till 8), and we're just about to get back in the car when a gentleman saw us and came to open the door. He said they had closed early because of the snow, and apologized profusely. We got to chatting and he found out we were road tripping and that we weren't going to be back in the area anytime soon, to which he responded that he could probably get us some leftovers to go! We were ecstatic, because the smells wafting out of the open door were overwhelmingly tempting. He let us in and the sweet sweet staff whipped us up some of the best home cooking I've ever had. My husband and I were starving, but I've never seen him eat so much! Homemade ribs, baked and fried chicken, fried fish, corn, pinto and green beans, and oh my gosh the stewed tomatoes and corn bread! And it was all topped off with the best lemonade and sweet tea, and sweet potato pie and coconut cream cake. I would give them 6 stars if I could.. everything was perfect and they were the sweetest, kindest people!
