A great place to grab a bite. Especially at the one on 29S. Ate their on our way to Danville
Biscuit and fried chicken was great! The mashed potatoes were not real potatoes - the same as KFC - a bit disappointing. The sweet potato pie and cherry cobbler were excellent!
Quiet, old school spot, nothing fancy but very good chicken tenders, excellent home made chicken salad and great burgers. The fried fish is something I will def be having again and my kids loved the sweet potato pie for dessert. Nice for a break from the normal routine for sure.
Great chicken and polite staff. We've been here at least 4 times, and I am always happy to eat a few pieces of their fried chicken.
They get a little busy on the weekend evenings, so make sure to plan for the crowd. It is worth the wait.
Was passing through working in Danville and decided to stop by from the one I used to eat at decades ago in Pulaski, Va. the gizzards and livers were cooked to perfection and couldn't stop eating them. The staff was excellent and very friendly and the restaurant as a whole was very clean and sanitary.....Highly recommended!! Going in today for some of that good looking chicken. Eat up everyone!!
