The all you can eat flounder dinner was great. Their coleslaw was the best I've had and they make it themselves. The waitresses were very friendly. I will definitely come back to this restaurant. The owners are friendly down to earth people. From a scale of 1-10 I give it 20.
Wonderful food, Fridays is all you can eat flounder and it was fantastic!! My grilled tuna was outstanding as well. Prices are very reasonable. It can get a little noisy, its a kid friendly place. Certainly worth a try.
Stunned.... our family has been visiting Surf’s Up since Jan took over the old location in the shopping center. The food was always good and Surf’s Up was always a convenient place to take our family for a quick dinner or lunch.
Today we came for dinner and something was off. The food took forever even though the place was not even half full. When the food came my fish was raw and the crab cake was cold inside and not fully cooked. The rest of the families’ food was fine. I alerted the waitress and showed her the food. I did not eat it, and I did not want a replacement because we were already late.
When the check came I was surprised that I was charged for my full meal. I asked to talk to Jan ( the owner) who told me she looked at the food I sent back and it looked fine to her. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the meal she just shrugged her shoulders. I paid the bill in full and told her that our family would not be back. Her response was : “ok”.
I suppose I must congratulate Jan on her awesome success, because only an immeasurably successful restauranteur could afford to treat a customer like this.
Very good food. Prices comparable. I had a flounder sandwich with corn pudding. Both were excellent. Was there with friends and tried a bite of crab cake (delicious) and fries-lightly battered, crunchy, and we'll-seasoned. I agreed with my friend that they were probably the best fries that I'd ever had. We didn't have room for dessert. We came on a slower Wed afternoon. Planning on coming back.
