    Best soul food place in PORTSMOUTH. Everything I have tried is seasoned to perfection. I love going there and yes the portion sizes and quality of the food keep me going back. Also try the desserts available and look for my guy at the window....he has great customer service and patience to make you feel so important and valued.

    WOW! Great! soul food and a lot of People I know loves this food as well. They serve great Portions more than enough God has truly blessed this Place of business and the cook. Yes! Good atmosphere! Thank God for Ellen's Homestyle cooking.

    Excellent home cooked comfort food!!! Mad portions! Very reasonably price for what you get. Take out only but worth the trip.

    The most friendly place on Earth. Great food too. Can't eat all in one sitting. Smothered pork chops are an absolute must and the cabbage is off the charts. Go there and be happy.
