We were only there for the last half hour but the bartender and cook were welcoming and fun to talk with. Would definitely be interested in coming back.
Ordered a couple of slices (pepperoni, or Alcatraz as they refer to it) just before lunch time 11am. What disappointed me right off the bat was the price, $9.56 including tax. Lol, the whole pizza was $21.50. I overheard the manager tell the cashier something about not ringing the lunch special. Like, talk behind my back in front of my face already lol! Apparently, I was 1 minute too early to take advantage of that. So much for courtesy and repeat business ????. Oh well. The slices were just regular sized, but on to the taste, The crust was New York style, not too thin but crackly. The sauce was pasty thick but not overly flavorful (excessive seasoning can thicken the sauce but clearly that wasn't the case here). Did I mention the cheese? Well to my liking there's plenty of it, some may think it's borderline too much. Overall, it's good pizza. My experience ruined it though.
Excellent wings, fries and pizza slices. NOT NY style rather San Fran style as advertised. VERY cheesy, fresh and delicious. Everything is baked including the fries. Good service as well! I'd recommend sitting outside if the weather is good.
Great beers on tap. Excellent whiskey and moonshine options. The wings and pizza are amazing and the staff is always friendly and ready to help you with suggestions to make your evening out even better.
Arrived at 5pm on Saturday and the place was empty. Had our dog and planned to eat outside but they let us eat inside. Put the lacrosse game on one of the tv’s for me. Sweet tea was good and so was the cocktail the wife ordered. Food was solid- chicken salad and pepperoni sandwich. Will definitely be back. Love dog friendly places.
