(August 10, 2019, 6:02 pm)I have ordered from this establishment several times through Doordash. My last order was not so good. The fish and vegetables were good. The dessert not so good. The top layer of the bread pudding was burned, black. I tasted a piece to make sure it wasn't a chocolate topping and it wasn't it was burned. I cut the top layer off and the bread pudding was good. I just wished they had did the same. That's the only reason I did not give a five star rating.

(July 27, 2019, 6:48 pm)Excellent customer service, friendly atmosphere...delicious food in generous portions. I'd definitely suggest Take A Plate to anyone who is in need of some real home cooked food. Annnnddd....they have homemade Banana Pudding too!

(July 24, 2019, 8:57 pm)This is the best soul food restaurant in P Town. Everything I had was delicious. Great turkey wings, collards, and potato salad with roll. I also got apple cobbler. I will definitely be returning.
