“Fast, Friendly, affordable, and FABULOUS! The menu hits every possible eating plan, the veggies are perfectly cooked and the portion sizes are perfect. With the exception that the food is soooooooo good, even though you are full you don’t want to stop. I had the chicken teriyaki bowl with a side order of veggies. The egg rolls are stuffed and perfectly cooked. My husband had the special, Honey Bourbon smoked ribs and it was all I could do not to eat them all after he let me try one. This food truck nails it!”

“This is one of those few reviews I hate to give a five star rating to as I’d like to keep this little place all to my self. The food was great. The tacos were some of the tastiest and creative I have had in this area. The fries we baked (still can’t believe that) yet tasted like they had to be fried. As much as I liked them, the ketchup was amazing. It had the perfect tang thanks to some vinaigrette added. The beers were quite good and refreshing on a nice warm day. Fine creek also had a great setting for hanging out, space for families to relax and have a good time. I’d also recommend walking around the area to see the cottages and creek where you can walk these shore line or venture in. Lastly, service was knowledgeable and very friendly. I will definitely be back soon. Overall had a great time and left full.”

“The store and restroom was CLEAN! I ordered coffee & a croissant. The croissant was good. I asked for sausage & egg; she added cheese... The coffee was mediocre. It was heavy on the cream & fairly weak. I would have preferred to add my own cream; that option wasn't there. I thought the price was a little steep for $7.24. The service wasn't extremely friendly either. I probably wouldn't return...”

“Sheetz has wonderful subs at low, low prices. There greens and other veggies are always on point and super fresh. This is definitely my favourite place to eat out when I am in the mood for fast food. There big soft pretzels are amazing and I recommend you give them a try, if you haven't already. Let's not forget that they have 20 to 30 fuel pumps waiting for you to use so that one can continue their travels. As far as their fuel prices go, they are equal to or less than the competitors. Plus, if you like fried food then you will not be disappointed with their huge selection of appetizers and cuisines. Sheetz, you rule!”

“Visited Mabel' Cafe with two excited grandsons after a visit to a nearby Boy Scout camp. Both boys said the hamburgers were the best ever. An order of fried pickles was enjoyed by their Dad and Nanny as well. The topper of the visit was the excitement of seeing a huge chocolate chip shake placed in front of the boys which they quickly devoured. It was filled with ice cream, cookies, sprinkles whipped cream and an ice cream sandwich. We'll be back soon.????”

“Definitely a DELICIOUS hole in the wall. If you are in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. Overall it's a bit greasy, but the service and the flavor of the sandwiches and the fries were so good, I can forgive this little negative. It's not health food, but who cares when you've got a ridiculously delicious Pastrami and fries to wolf down. I also tried the steak and cheese, but I preferred the Pastrami. In general steak and cheese isn't my first choice anywhere, so perhaps if you are a fan of them, you'll love this one. The fries were seasoned well. Definitely grab a basket! Powhatan State park is just 2 minutes away, grab your food to go, and go enjoy a picnic!”

“Was a decent experience, and I have gotten my order wrong only once, and hope it never happens again. It’s right next to my work, so I pass it all the time. Also, some of the cashiers can be pretty rude sometimes, but other than staff and orders, great rest stop for gas or a snack. Doesn’t deserve a 5 star for sure but it was good enough to say the least.”
