Charley's Waterfront Cafe

My husband and I celebrated a special occasion last night at Charley's. With some trepidation, we ordered two of the seafood specials: the salmon and the ahi tuna. Sometimes these seafood dishes are overcooked. We were delighted with our dinners. Not only were both fish entrees moist and flavorful, but the vegetable sides with both were wonderful. Since I love vegetables, I was pleased that these were not overcooked, and most of all, the food was not heavily salted.

The food and atmosphere was great. Deserts was great. I gave it 4 stars for now because of the service. The seafood soup was cold and it took a while for our waiter to come back and fix the problem; and we had to ask 4 time for a doggy bag. Hopefully it was just our waiter having an off day. I'll probably give them another chance.

First time to Charley's waterfront cafe, there was a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We decided to sit on the deck and within minutes had to go inside there was no breeze along the water but our waitress didn't bat an eye to move us inside, which means she didn't have to go outside either I suspect. The food was top quality, fresh ingredients, and a home cooked quantity. The price compared to other establishments in the area I felt was very reasonable. Overall great experience and will recommend to friends and family if they're going in to be in or around the area.

Good food. Attentive server. Had the individual pizza which was excellent served on a ceramic tile straight out of the oven. Very noisy during peak meal times though.

Not busy this visit but wait person was slow or preoccupied elsewhere. Maybe the kitchen was, I don't know.
Food was good but the chicken fingers ought to have something other than honey mustard to go with them. Maybe ranch or Chipotle. Another choice of side like maybe salad or mashed potatoes would be good. Music at the bar was good. Everyone was polite and respectful.
Definitely go back.
