The food was absolutely amazing! The owners are very personable and make you feel right at home. I recommend the chicken kebob, the new chef created an amazing marinate which is definitely worth a try! The side of rice is cooked to perfection by one of the owners and vegetables on the grill to go complete the dish! 10/10 recommend!
I got the lamb kabob (meat was perfectly pink in the middle) sandwich on pita and my daughter got the kids kafta at Cedar Bay Lebanese restaurant in Gainesville. It's amazing! My daughter gave an enthusiastic thumbs up and finished the plate! Their sides are flavorful as well! Three different kinds of baklava: walnut, pistachio, and cashew. Come and get you some!
I stopped by there the other day to try it for the first time. The food was outstanding and the service was awesome. I met the owner Jack, he was very knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you for delicious food.
Had Chicken shawarma plate and a variety of appetizers, everything was good. Friendly environment and a large food selection. Highly recommend.
I highly recommend Cedar Bay! The food was among the best Lebanese fare I've had--in this area, or anywhere. The fattoush salad was exceedingly fresh, and the pita crisps were crispy. The salad was topped with a delicious dressing, too! The hummus, moussaka, and grape leaves were also really great. My favorite, though, was the falafel: fried to crispy perfection, with a flavorful side of tahini sauce. The family who owns the restaurant was personable and kind. I ordered takeout, but hope to sit in in the near future. Patrons of Lebanese Taverna in Tysons or Byblos in Gainesville should seriously consider adding Cedar Bay to the Lebanese food rotation!
