Pretty good atmosphere. We were apart of a large party when we visited the restaurant. The staff was more than accommodating, the food was delicious, and it was overall pretty good. The only qualm that I have is that I wish the menu was just a little bit larger with a few more options.
Decent food. Sometimes inconsistent. Can be a bit pricey depending on what you get. Nice atmosphere though. Friendly service. A good place to go if you need to have a group reservation. Bar is also nice. In the summer, the outdoor seating g is nice too.
Had a great experience! Came in for lunch and to watch some playoff football and they had all the TV's playing the game. Guinness Stew is phenomenal and the G Street Burger my girlfriend got was delicious. All the food was hot and fresh and the vast beer selection gave you plenty of options to wash it all down. We love Grafton Street and have been coming back for a few years now. They have weekly specials too that we are going to start taking advantage of too! ????????????
We went to Grafton Street for the first time on a quiet night. There were 3 adults, and 2 children in our party. We had Sam and Jess as our waiter and waitress in training.
They were both wonderful and deserve 5 stars for service.
Their butternut squash soup, garlic mashed potatoes, and shoestring fries were excellent.
My friend had a chicken salad and stated that the lettuce was wilted...and it wasn't enjoyed.
I shared a spinach and feta pizza with a friend. She loved it but I didn't think it had any flavor.
We didn't have much and I am sure there are many great things left to try.
The ambience of the restaurant was very nice, and the seating was wonderful as well.
This place deserves a solid 3 stars and I would be happy to go back and possibly update with 4 stars if there is more consistency with the menu items.
The food was great, but at 7:00 on a Saturday, they were out of the prime rib and the potato and leek soup. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait for a table for 2, but there was one empty both and two couples left while we waited. The wait was only a couple minutes, but the initial estimate was confusing. They ran out of steak knives when our entree came out. The steaks were delicious and tender, so we didn't need the one knife we did get.
Overall, the food was delicious, our waiter was fantastic, and we'll go back, but the lack of overall preparedness for Saturday night dinner was surprising.
