Overall: pretty good.
Lots of seating. Casual environment. Several TVs with some form of inoffensive sports talk. Employees were helpful and polite enough.
You can order from a menu or order pizza by the slice, which is then heated in the oven before serving. Not bad for a NY-style pizza Cafe.
Prices were a bit high (in my opinion). Expect to pay about $10+ per person.
Had a nice selection of booze, too.
Good pizza. Ceaser salad is good. So is the pasta. Can't really go wrong if in the mood for some Italian.
Pizza was good, not great! Toppings not evenly spread out which caused the center to be soggy. However, my biggest complaint is about their service and to think I gave them a tip. If I'd have known it was self-service, I would have kept the extra money I gave them. Server plopped the pizza and stand down on the table. Said nothing and walked away. Didn't even bring a utensils. Staff stood around and stared at TV. Owner drank and BS with friend. He'd ask how your dinner was, but only if you knew him. I might stop in if it's only place, but don't think I'd return.
My son's soccer team had their end of season party there on a night I had to work.
I called ahead to pay for a gluten free pizza and a drink to be ready with the team food.
Charbel was super friendly and helpful. The food was great and ready at the right time.
Good pizza overall, much better than most in the area. Crust is great, excellent flavor from high-heat oven, not cooked on conveyer like most places. Really great flavor and chew/crunch on the crust. Cheese is great, high-quality mozzarella, and is applied in just the right amount, not too heavy. The only thing I had a quibble with was the sauce. For my tastes, the sauce is a little too sweet and is the only note that keeps the rest of the pizza from singing. Sauce is applied in just the right amount at least (for NY-style pizza). Great acidity, and obviously high-quality tomatoes, just wish it had more savory notes to temper the sweet, (maybe more garlic and oregano?)
