Third Base Pizza and Frozen Custard Parlor

Third Base is easy to find right when you pull into historic Occoquan. There aren’t a ton of seats, but we came just after the lunch rush and didn’t have to wait. The place was full the whole time, but it didn’t feel crowded or rushed. There’s a great selection of really unique pizzas, plus some salads, and of course you can’t forget the frozen custard for dessert! The pizzas are shaped like flatbreads, with thin crusts, and lots of toppings. They’re small enough that you could probably finish a whole one on your own if you were starving, but they’re great to split. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, quick to refill drinks, but not hovering or pushy. We will definitely be back.

Phenomenal pizza! Just tried the Diablo, which is essentially a meat lovers pizza with spicy tomato sauce and habanero oil. Came hot out of the oven. Thin crust, but not skimpy on toppings. Service was friendly and helpful. Rustic, but comfortable environment.

This is not your run of the mill pizza joint. They have exciting Korean Fusion pizzas that are surprisingly delicious! I like ending my dinner with a sweet note and their creamy swirl custard was just right.

Good place to celebrate National Pizza Day! Busy night, we had to wait a short while. There aren't a whole lot of dine-in tables but it was worth it. The service is friendly and helpful, not at all the type of servers that hover and try to become your new best friend. Really good pizza and really good frozen custard.

This place has always had amazing pizza and custard and recently they added a variety of salads to their menu! Gluten free crust is also available! Great service and atmosphere.
