Decided to pay Beauvine a visit last night. Everyone in our party enjoyed the shakes, handcrafted sodas, duck fat fries, beer from Kindred Spirit Brewing, and of course, the delicious burgers served on the brioche rolls that I make at my job at The Flour Garden Bakery. Our service was excellent as well. It is expensive for a burger and fries? Yes and no. I was served high quality, locally sourced, and well prepared ingredients and I expect to pay more for that. Beauvine is, without question, my favorite burger in Richmond. We’ll definitely return.
Beauvine is one of our local favorites that we keep coming back to. It's a nice little restaurant in the fan with fantastic burgers/fries. Their 5 dollar cheeseburger is good but get one of their specialty burgers and some duck fat or sweet potato fries to get a full experience. Adult milkshakes, a good drink menu, and friendly staff round out the experience. Hard to go wrong here.
It was a little later in the evening, however I know most places on Burger Week were supposed to be packed. We both got the burger week burger, mine subbed with a veggie patty, and the vegetarian side of fries. Everything was cooked, seasoned, and perfectly built together. The veggie burger was flavorful and not dry, the pickle was salty but not bitter, the tomato slice was delicious and flavorful, and the fries were nice and crispy. The fries do not come as a side, and this is probably the most hefty amount of fries I've been given. I'd say it was my money's worth
Dude. This place is great. Really liked the vibe inside and they were playing Star Wars on TV (it was on a channel so I guess that wasn’t super intentional but it was cool). I’m pretty sure I got the Bellytimber for the burger and it was amazing. I’m a huge fan of the onion ring and the smoked cheddar is a great touch. Lots of great textures and flavors all throughout, made me very happy.
The fries were decent, but that’s not really what I came for, so I didn’t mind that they didn’t blow me away. However, the dark chocolate shake definitely did. I loved the edible straw thing they had and the shake was thick and delicious. Little steep in price for a shake though.
Great service as well!
