My friend and I found this place after grieving down to soul taco. The smell drew us to the place and we ditched our craving for Mexican for a nice home cooked style meal. The food was delicious. And the chocolate chip cookies are to die for. I didn’t even know the workers but you could tell that inside the restaurant they were a family and that shows in the food

Hole in the wall. Food is dank. Absolutely delicious quesadilla...seasoned well. No seating, so that was a bummer, but the food more than made up for it!

The mac n cheese and the cornbread w/corn in it was the best!

Take out kitchen that opens on weekdays, but make sure u call in advance and get ur order places in as u dont have any tables or waiting area to sit inside while waiting for ur order. Salads are yum here as they get the southern style to it. Must try chicken buffalo salad, shrimp salad is as good. Quesadillas are fully stuffed with chicken. mac n cheese was really yummy. They do sell beverages and some homemade ???? chcoc cookies.

The food tastes amazing! Their portions have gotten bigger. Their recipes must have changed a tiny bit because the food is even tastier. The fried catfish is what I usually get, but this time I got a Philly cheesesteak and was pleasantly surprised.
