Good happy hour spot in Downtown Richmond. Great selection of beers and some decent appetizers to pick from on happy hour menu. Lots of space and not too crowded and a large bar to hang out.
Great service! I went for the first time a couple of days ago for a friend's birthday and it was amazing. The food was amazing and the portions were worth the price. Definitely recommend for a nice outing.
First time going and my husband and I went with the kids. It was an excellent experience! Service was great, but they did run out of rice, so we got our food and had to wait for rice. The manager came out and offered another side while we waited for the rice, so that was great. I ordered fajitas so I had no rights to eat with them and my husband eats his tacos with rice on it so our food was cold by the time we got our rice. The manager ended up paying for his tacos because he wasn't eating them without the right so the manager took the tacos off our ticket. I got a blood orange margarita and it was so delicious! Casa Del Barco what's a great first experience we will be returning!!
Margaritas and the tequila selection are superb.
Ambiance: loud music at 7 ish on a weeknight. They also had empty(?) tequila bottles hanging from the ceiling on display like a frat house. Maybe they were full? Either way hanging above tables is a strange place to keep them.
Service: fast and friendly. Overall attentive.
Menu: tacos were great but I wish they had a burrito.
Cost: the cost didn't really transfer to the quality of food. If it hadn't been raining, if it were warm, and the canal hadn't been smelly I could see justifying the price for location.
This lovely place is somewhat a little hard to find if you’re not paying attention to their strategic posted signs leading you to this hidden treasure in Richmond, VA! This restaurant has almost everything going for it. Staring with a great location overlooking the canal, creative decorations and designs, friendly staff, wonderful selection of authentic Mexican food, unique drinks, great service, and a wonderful manager (Josh) to top their exceptional service. I tried their Seafood fajitas during my visit. And let’s say that I savored every bite. If you love authentic Mexican food and great view, then this restaurant is certainly for you.
