Delicious food, phenomenal drinks, and a gorgeous atmosphere. The wait staff did a great job taking care of us, and the portions on the food was quite generous. 10/10 would recommend

If you are looking for an extraordinary restaurant in Richmond, visit Cocodrilo! The upscale atmosphere, attentive and plentiful staff and overall vibe is just amazing! The food is presented well, very creative with many flavor combinations. Nothing plain here. We enjoyed the an app of crispy blue corn chips with a trio of tasty and addicting salsas, mains of flounder & shrimp special, the gnocchi with mushroom and greens, and delectable churro donuts with chocolate sauce for dessert. The comfortable, colorful decor is fun and welcoming, from the outdoor space in front , murals on the walls, the velvet settee grouping around a large fireplace inside. Glad to have this new restaurant in Richmond!!

First off, the place is new and mad busy so reservations highly suggested .
Second , the place is more lively than romantic, the porch seating is a nice option.

The service was fine, especially considering they were newly opened. The waiter comes and takes your order then food runners bring it and you don't see them again, but it ran smoothly.

The raw tuna appetizer was the highlight.
Everything else was really just slightly above average Latin food with a much better presentation.

Having the sauce drizzled in a picturesque way in a nice setting is cool, but it's not worth 4× what you'd pay at about half the Bodega in town.

Beautiful place, good service, slightly above average pedestrian food.
Perhaps all the well off west enders in there are just terrified to go into a Bodega so they think it's groundbreaking cuisine?

Such an amazing restaurant! You can really tell the chef cares about the food as he prepares it and it's so nice to be able to see the attention to detail the cooks have through the window to the kitchen. A great date night or girls night out spot to catch up with friends.

A welcome addition to the local dining scene. The lobster enchiladas (slightly crispy) were good as was the "on tap" margarita. Friendly and responsive service. The entrée selection was limited and I don't recall any below $24. It will be interesting to see what they do with the back patio since it's basically a parking lot. Maybe with the right plants, shading and music it will be a good vibe.
