Great place! Our food was delicious and our server wonderful. Should you go and the Cream of Potato w) Asparagus is on their menu for the evening, order it! You won't be disappointed.

This is a hidden gem. It's such a cute little restaurant featuring outdoor seating on their beautifully decorated patio. The food and service were great. Nice wine menu. We attended for crab cake week.

The menu is pricey. The food is delicious. I had the Seven hills short ribs with cauliflower puree . also,pictured are the crab cakes. Short ribs were tender. The Carmel Apple pie was good but my friends were disappointed with the lemon chess pie. Anthony our waiter was awesome

This place was so good. I was in Richmond on business and went to Max's with coworkers and we had a great time. Our server, Freedom (her name) was awesome and took great care of us. I loved my meal. The 2nd floor lookout over the street was great. The weather was perfect and made the whole experience memorable. I would love to come back her for a date night with my wife in the future. I highly recommend.

The food was excellent here, and the only thing better was the service. Our waiter, really wish I could remember his name, was the best we've had in a long time. Courteous, prompt, attentive, everything you want in a waiter. Very good selection of wines by the glass, and even better and bigger selection by the bottle. Some of the appetizers are seasonal, and I highly recommend starting with one. Entrees are pretty diverse, there's beef, pork, seafood, vegan. We ended up with all beef dishes at our table, and all of them were fantastic. They were out of the dessert we wanted, but the ones we got were even better than we were expecting. Very good experience overall, and highly recommended.
