Temple is an incredible addition to the Richmond food scene. These flavors are true to form. Atmosphere is delightful, portions are generous, prices fair. You've gotta get one of their soups. To die for.

Great little restaurant, with a unique atmosphere and a variation on Thai food. Good size menu, with a selection of drinks to go along. Friendly and helpful staff to help enjoy the experience. Have eaten here a few times and have not been disappointed. Definitely recommend for a quiet night out!

This meal started off as a back up as Sabai had an hour wait. This however was an incredible meal! Great service as well. I recommend the pork belly entree. Full bar with great drinks too. A perfect small spot for an intimate setting. Lao-Asian food is officially one of my favorites.

Nice place with a good location in Scott's Addition. Sat at the bar and ate there. Food is good with some execution issues. Had the dumplings first (top item on the menu) and the flavor was excellent. Then I heard loud CRUNCH as my wife bit into something rock hard. No missing teeth but she was finished with that appetizer. We both had soups as main dishes. She had a beef and meatball soup that didn't list cilantro on the menu (she doesn't like cilantro and picked this soup for that reason). It came loaded with cilantro. I ordered a pork soup with egg noodles (the only soup on the menu, I believe, with out rice noodles). It was excellent. So much so that my wife quickly traded with me and ate that dish instead. For her to say she'd come back is saying something. I enjoyed everything but she had a rougher go of it. With a little more attention to detail and better descriptions on the menu, this could be an excellent place.
