The Westover

This coffee shop is clean, bright, spacious, and an improvement over its predecessors. However, they still don’t have fully trained baristas capable of slinging espresso drinks efficiently. This is a great place for moms to bring children to pick out donuts.

What a fantastic place! This is the kind of coffee shop atmosphere I wish I had near me in Hanover. There is plenty of seating and space available, which is a huge bonus in my book. I always feel like shops like this have such minimal seating and this is definitely not the case here. The breakfast I had was so delicious and very reasonably priced. I am not a coffee drinker, but they had a delightful selection of loose leaf teas that I rather enjoyed. I was there on a Saturday morning and got to experience the live music. I am typically not a huge fan of live music in the dining setting (since it can be loud and overpowering), but I really enjoyed the music while I was there. We sat very close to the stage and it was really pleasant to have the music in the background. I highly recommend giving this place a try and I will certainly be going back myself!

Very nice hang. Easy to enjoy a working lunch or casual meeting. Good place for jazz or showcase. Would like to see more music there. ????

Very nice place, good food and nice atmosphere. Looks like they have live jazz on Saturday night. Pretty sure I got the night correct.

Very helpful staff willing to change up menu items to work around dietary issues. Large space offers plenty of room for people to work on laptops, sit in a corner and people watch, or socialize with friends. Stage big enough for the musicians with plenty of room for a big audience. Enjoyed the artwork and the fact that regulars can bring their own mug, and keep it there, for discounted refills. Enjoyed the jazz on Sundays. A relaxing way to spend a Sunday morning with friends or the newspaper.
