“I usually avoid businesses without reviews, but I've been waiting for this place to open for a while now and had to try it. When I stopped by I had missed lunch hours, but I was able to see inside and it looked really cute and well organized. But I was able to get delivery for dinner. I got seaweed salad, some noodles for my son, and the Hibachi Shrimp plate to split. The food was very fresh and I loved the diversity of veggies with my meal. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and were super tasty. Definitely an improvement on most fast Hibachi places I know. Portions very sizable and great price point. I definitely will be ordering again and glad to have a Japanese eatery in the Cave Spring area.”

“The food was outstanding! I tried all of the meats and found them all to be very tasty and smoked to perfection. I tried the collard greens and the smoked watermelon and they were excellent. My wife got multiple meats and mac and cheese and baked beans for the sides. She loved all of it! The proprietor was very courteous and attentive to our requests. He is also well versed in vegetarian diets as well as gluten free diets. We plan on coming back very soon!”

“It's one of the Roanoke VA area's newer Starbucks. And with all the others' around here the staff is always fantastic to deal with. One person in particular named Bri, worked at another Starbucks I go to. But seeing her at this new place was great! She always remembers my complicated order, and makes time to catch-up. The other staff there always go out of their way to remember your name and order too. ALWAYS a bright spot in my day.”

“I love Marco's! I'm so glad they opened this location in Roanoke! I love in Blacksburg, VA and used to drive all the way to Lynchburg about 2-3 times a semester to pick up a Large Thick Crust Chicken Hawaiian pizza. Absolutely NO ONE beats Marco's pizza. Not Dominoe's, not Pizza Hut, not Papa John, Little Caesars, not even Digiorno or Red Baron. Their dough is made from scratch every day and their cheese is never frozen. They even have a generous rewards program in their app! If you just TRY Marco's, you won't be disappointed.”

“We had a party of 5 and set in the back seating section, away from the bar. We were all very pleased with our food, and our waitress was kind and informative. We were a bit surprised how long it took to get our appetizers and beers. We ordered wine, and apparently they couldn’t find their wine opener. As well as beers, which we also had to wait for 10mins to receive? 3pm on a Saturday with the restaurant being half full, we did not complain but noticed between drinks and appetizers, they were running slow. After we got our food, no complaints, everything was fresh and well prepared. I would def recommend the bacon jam burger with a side of jalepenños. If you’re looking to relax, sit on the opposite side of the divider away from the bar. If you’d like a louder or more social atmosphere, grab a high top near the bar. Plus it seems that you get better service up there as well. We plan to return during warmer weather and try out their open air patio area, which appears to offer bar service as well. We plan to return and update this review if our experience changes.”

“I am still thinking about this awesome food truck. My son’s job had this a special treat last Saturday and had Ken & Jayne's Burgers & Dogs serving lunch to team members working that shift lunch. And my wonderful Chef Desmond (my son) saved his burger to share with me and he knows the whole Family are all food critics…. So, the first bite was mine and that burger was so delicious I went and got a beef hotdog with chili and I made some yummy chili but I have to say the chili is A1+ and the service was top notch!! Thank you!”

Even saw that we had stopped and helped an elderly individual who had fallen and remade our order! That's customer service. The food was good. “We had a good experience when we came here. Food came out quick (it wasn't super busy at the time) and the portions were great. The small pho bowl is enough for a regular appetite while a large bowl would probably be a better size for two people to share (unless you typically have a big appetite). You can choose your ingredients for the pho and there are other non-pho options of food as well. You order by getting a sheet and taking it to your table, then once you check what you want a server will take it from you. Not a lot of seating and one unisex bathroom. “First time I have stopped here. Went through the drive thru. The young man taking my order had a bit of trouble and I had to repeat my order 3-4 times and then I still had a small drink when I ordered large( was only charged for small) the potatoes with gravy were on point. Delicious. The blackened chicken sandwich well the flavor was good but the chicken was a bit chewy. It had been overcooked a bit and was a more like chicken jerky that a chicken sandwich. I know they have just opened with new staff and they are trying to get it together so I will definitely give them another go. I didn’t really wait long at the drive thru and the people waiting on me were very polite.”

“The owner uses good quality hot dogs. The cashier was his son who is very well mannered and friendly. I got the Long Island dog. The caramelized onions on it were a big hit for me. They just started doing breakfast yesterday. I ordered a Chorizo breakfast burrito. It was really good. Their card reader was down, so the owner just let me go and asked that I come back another time to pay for it. How awesome! I didn't have cash on me, so this was a nice surprise for my morning! I really like this place! He let me know that they're waiting on their ABC license as well...so they'll have beer soon!! The pic of store hours is their standard hours. “Highly recommend it. Delicious food and extremely kind people! We weren't sure what to order, so we put it in their hands and received tons of filling, very tasty food. The paneer biryani was savory in all the right ways, with excellent spices and veggies thrown in. The Paneer dosa, spicy dosa, potato & cheese dosa were all huge portions and on point with flavor. “Burger on the Square has a convenient location on Brambleton Ave, with some wait to get back into Brambleton traffic at busy times of the day. I placed a pick up order by phone, and the order was ready and hot upon my arrival. The chilli for the taco salad was outstanding, not too spicy and very flavorful. The salad items were crisp and fresh. The pulled pork was also delicious, but the "on the side" sweet BBQ sauce was not included. The hush puppies were good, and butter was included. The baked beans were average, with no additions to enhance the flavor out of the can. Very personable and friendly staff, I recommend Burger for pick up or a quick bite. There is ample seating in a pleasant atmosphere for dining. Wheelchair accessible entrance, but I don't know about accessibility in the restrooms. Good place for children or family dining. Prices are reasonable.”
