“I love Marco's! I'm so glad they opened this location in Roanoke! I love in Blacksburg, VA and used to drive all the way to Lynchburg about 2-3 times a semester to pick up a Large Thick Crust Chicken Hawaiian pizza. Absolutely NO ONE beats Marco's pizza. Not Dominoe's, not Pizza Hut, not Papa John, Little Caesars, not even Digiorno or Red Baron. Their dough is made from scratch every day and their cheese is never frozen. They even have a generous rewards program in their app! If you just TRY Marco's, you won't be disappointed.”

“We had a party of 5 and set in the back seating section, away from the bar. We were all very pleased with our food, and our waitress was kind and informative. We were a bit surprised how long it took to get our appetizers and beers. We ordered wine, and apparently they couldn’t find their wine opener. As well as beers, which we also had to wait for 10mins to receive? 3pm on a Saturday with the restaurant being half full, we did not complain but noticed between drinks and appetizers, they were running slow. After we got our food, no complaints, everything was fresh and well prepared. I would def recommend the bacon jam burger with a side of jalepenños. If you’re looking to relax, sit on the opposite side of the divider away from the bar. If you’d like a louder or more social atmosphere, grab a high top near the bar. Plus it seems that you get better service up there as well. We plan to return during warmer weather and try out their open air patio area, which appears to offer bar service as well. We plan to return and update this review if our experience changes.”

“This is the epitome of the local beer pub! The atmosphere is almost always great, and the locals that sit at the bar are fun to chat with. If you get them warmed up, you will be laughing over a cold beer in no time. The burgers are some of the best in Roanoke, and all of the home cooked food specials will hit the spot. Prices are hard to beat. Don't pass the spot by when you come into Vinton!”

“Hubs and I went for an early breakfast after a workout this morning. The server was delightful and the food was wonderful. The menu has a wide range of options from home style favorites to healthy lite choices. This is a unique brunch/breakfast spot for this side of town!!! It’s so nice to have a place like this in Vinton!! They also had a huge selection of single serve desserts, cakes, pies, breads, etc. we didn’t indulge in those, but will look forward to doing so in the future!”

“We went to Joe's Goodpies on a Friday night probably around 7:30ish. We called ahead and put our name on the list and they told us about an hour wait. That's about what we expected since they are a new restaurant and it was a Friday night. They promptly called us maybe 5-10 minutes early and we went inside and they sat us. The service was good. They were busy and it took time to get our food but we took note that all the servers, wait staff, and cooks were busting their behinds working and not standing around. I got the white chicken spinach pizza and my hubby got the cheesesteak. The food was good. He had to add some more salt to the fries, but they give you seasoning options if you want more flavor. All in all....I think for a new restaurant, they did great! We will be back!”

“Twin Creeks Brewing Company has always had outstanding beer, but now, you have to visit their new location in the historic Brugh Tavern at Explore Park. We tried the nachos and wings and both were great! I honestly think these were the best wings I have ever tasted! Visiting here is going to become a happy habit! ”

“I have been working with James for over two years now. He is a phenomenal instructor! He takes pride in all he does and his character is bar none. He is always trying to come up with ways to improve, but also stay true to himself. He is extremely educated and continues to better himself by gaining as much knowledge as he can in all aspects. He's such a great, positive motivator and pushes you to want to achieve the best in yourself. He offers different programs and adjusts to your own personal skill level. James is very flexible and will alter exercises when needed. I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience at OMA and look forward to continuing my journey! He's the best out there, I assure you!”

“My husband is from the northeast and loves Italian food and is very selective. We both love Sal's. Everything we've tried has been excellent and consistent. Along with friendly and efficient service the owners are on sight and responsive to any questions. Nice wine list and fabulous desserts. The best Italian in the Roanoke area.”

“1st off, this is my fav Domino's store in Roanoke (Challenger Ave). Pizza has always been well made, hot, and exactly as ordered. My recent order was a thin crust sausage pizza. FAB! Love the thin crust!”

“There is plenty of food at reasonable prices. The food is good but the pasta was a little overcooked. The decor could use updating. When crowded, the service slows to a crawl. This is to be expected since there is limited staff. Be sure your order is understood. The staff will bring out something other than what you ordered. As long as you know what to expect, you can get a good meal at a decent price.”

“The food was fantastic. The stuffed French toast is great but it is 100% share size! My wife is very picky about her eggs and she said they were cooked perfectly. The home fries were delicious as well! Great breakfast spot in Roanoke area.”

“Absolutely delicious! The food is 10 out of 10, the pricing is 10 out of 10. The only thing that could be better is the space. It's tiny with only 2 tables or else you can sit at the bar (no alchohol). But everything is local, the meat comes from grass free range cows and the sauces are amazing. One of my new favorite places in Roanoke!”

“Great smokey flavor. Brisket was tender and both the mustard and red sauces were good on it. The chicken with the mustard sauce was delicious and juicy. All the sides were great too, like home cooked food (green beans, baked beans and macaroni and cheese).”
