You just can't beat Paul's in downtown Roanoke. No comparable luncheon. Family owned, made-to-order FANTASTIC food. Better plan on a to-go box because the plates are huge! Multi-cultural staff and they are the friendliest, conversational restaurant from 6AM-2PM you'll find at the absolute best price in downtown Roanoke. 4 item breakfast and endless coffee and H2O $6 even. Great place to eat the biggest, power meal of the day, read the news, network, and catch up with locals.

Cash only. Pretty good food and very affordable. Feels like an old diner through and through. I've had the burgers and gyros - both were food. Fries are adequate, nothing special.

Make sure you have cash on you lol! Paul's is one of my fave lunch time stops. They're pretty quick you can be in and out in 10mins or less despite a line. I like the old school diner feel as well

A hidden gem downtown! This is the best diner in Roanoke, hands down. It is very clean which is so important. Their food is delicious and served hot. Everything is hand prepped and patted, etc and family ran. You cant go wrong with breakfast or lunch. I always get bacon, eggs, fried potatoes and French toast or hamburger and fries for lunch. It's a busy place but u will never wait long for your hot food.
