(May 16, 2019, 8:02 pm)Great place with very nice staff. I come here often with my friend. The food is delicious. Once, I even got a waffle with sugar cubes in it! Wonderful place, you must stop by if you're in the area. They're just so good!!!

lunch today. The Restaurant in Salem, VA
has a nice selection of salads and sandwiches. Surprise today, buy one/get
one free dessert. Generous servings of
food prepared while you wait, custom and
fresh. Desserts very tasty. Pleasant
environment with view. Modest price
encourages one to host friends and
grandchildren on special occasions.

(December 28, 2018, 1:38 pm)Wow! What a gem! The food, price, and service were all excellent. I had the country omelet with the Portuguese sweet toast and it was delicious. The entire experience was wonderful and I will return. I came during breakfast on a raining Friday around 7 and it was perfect for lifting my spirits. Come hungry and leave happy!
