Good food and yes, you have to try the Peanut Soup! Chicken was very tasty and tender. The service was good. Our hostess was very friendly and kept us informed when the food was taking longer than expected (they were making a fresh batch of chicken and it was TOTALLY worth the wait)

Great restaurant. Very clean; fast, friendly service; great selection on menu; real ice cream. Will be going back! The roast beef was fork tender served with real beef gravy....tasty and a generous portion. The salad was fresh and crisp, no wilted lettuce! Spouse had country fried steak served with really good gravy. Steak was tender and juicy. Check out this restaurant and you won't be disappointed.

Very nice experience. We had a standard breakfast of bacon, eggs and hash browns all perfectly prepared to our order. The staff was courteous and professional. They really know what they're doing. They've been doing it for a while now. Great old diner atmosphere as well.

Stopped by here and it did not disappoint! I highly recommend trying their fried chicken. Some of the best I’ve had! Our waitress was friendly and speedy. I definitely want to stop by again when I make my way down to New Market again.

Very nice restaurant in New Market. My wife and I each had one of the daily specials. She had a Berry Chicken Salad. There had to have been an entire chicken breast cut up and placed on the salad. I looked beautiful and tasted delicious. I had the prime rib sandwich. It was loaded with meat and was also delicious. We shared a slice of lemon meringue pie for dessert and it was amazing. Top it all off with a wonderful, friendly server and we had a fantastic meal.
