Puerto Nuevo

I love Mexican food, I also judge the restaurant on their ability to fix chili “relleno”, which was prepared to perfection. Gonna be my favorite restaurant.

Puerto Nuevo might just be the best Mexican food I’ve had here in the States. I had the Puerto Nuevo Special (surf and turf), and I was blown away. The salsa bar and chips were even amazing. Service was great and authentic, and the food was incredible. I will be back.

Tried the new Puerto Nuevo in Marion today and was very pleased. I had the shrimp cocktail with octopus and oyster, it was great! My Lady Friend had shrimp tacos and she said they were the best. We shared a medium Margarita, had the desired effect! We will be coming back to further explore the menu....

Food was good, portions were generous, and staff was very friendly. The jumbo margaritas weren't cheap but were a worthwhile splurge. We got the beef fajitas and El Combo. The El Combo came on 2 loaded plates with each entree stuffed with meat. Would definitely get that again! Our basket of chips came with a cheesy bean dip and we had almost polished the whole basket off before we noticed the salsa bar. There were 7 options of salsa so you are sure to find one that suits your tastes. Highly recommend the restaurant but not the hotel it is located in.
