So delicious that my husband wouldn't stop bringing it up the entire 40 minute drive home! We split an order of cannoli - some of the best we've had. He had the Cuban and I ordered the Italian roast pork sandwich. The pork was out of this world on both sandwiches and we didn't want to stop eating, even when we were completely stuffed. Highly recommend!!!
First time and impressed. Very clean great friendly service. Ordered three pizzas. Family loved them and we will be back.
They have been open for 6 weeks and are blowing it out of the water.
The loaded Philly is solid and the Garlic Parmesan Mushrooms are a great side to share. Good portions and amazing service.
We are excited to return and try their pizza next!
Stopped by last week for our first visit and won't be our last. I got a veggie sub, boyfriend had a cheesesteak with mozzarella. We both got friends and cannoli for dessert.
My veggie sub was good, I prefer my veggies almost charred, and was a little uncooked for me, but still very good. The fries were crisp and lightly seasoned, didn't need any salt added. He loved his cheesesteak, perfect flavor, wasn't overfilled. Both very much enjoyed the cannoli.
Tons of free parking out front, and very clean interior. Owner and staff were super friendly and made sure we were satisfied with everything. Definitely will be back!
Doc Rocco's has only been open a few weeks, but we've already visited twice.
The first visit was on day 2 of their opening. It wasn't busy so we got to chat with the owner about his friend Doc and how he came about opening this restaurant. On our first visit we tried pizza. My go to pizza is pepperoni and mushroom. They offer fresh mushrooms which I do not like on pizza. They just get dried out. He offered to sauté them for me and the pizza turned out so good. The crust was thin and had just the right amount of crisp to it. The sauce was so good. It's probably the best pizza sauce I've had. He said this was his own recipe.
We made another visit today. The place was packed with people waiting for to-go orders and dining in. But the orders were coming out pretty quickly. We decided on sandwiches but as they are still waiting on their supply of Boars Head for the cold sandwiches all they were offering were hot sandwiches.
I got a large steak and cheese and for an extra $3 made it a combo with fries and a drink. I did customize my sandwich with onions and peppers, no lettuce and they offer a variety of cheese including wiz. I went with American. My sandwich came out exactly as I ordered it, and the steak was delicious. Tender, and very flavorful. I'm not sure what seasoning they use, but it was very good. The bread was soft and held the filling nicely. The fries were hot and cooked through, but could have probably used a minute or so longer in the fryer for some color. I didn't care for the canned soda, so just got a bottle of water.
My husband got the Italian Roast pork which came with sauteed spinach, sharp provolone and garlic aioli. He's used to having this sandwich with broccoli rabe, but said the spinach was a nice change. The pork was tender and flavorful.
Both visits we left with half our meal. The portions are plentiful and the service is great. The young lady behind the counter was pleasant and the owner goes out of his way to make sure you are satisfied with your food. This will place will definitely be in our regular rotation.
