Iztac Mexican Cantina

Stopped by on a recommendation but was let down. The place was very small and they sat us by the front door and it was freezing! Anytime the door opened, the cold draft would hit us. Chips were served cold and stale. Our server discouraged us from ordering a flight of drinks bc apparently the one bartender was behind. The one cantarito we did order wasn't good. . Maybe get a new bartender.

New #1 Mexican restaurant out of hundreds all across the US and its local!!! This place does not disappoint whatsoever! Flavorful, Margaritas are good, service top notch! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best tacos I’ve ever had. Ever. We got the grilled queso on the bread which made it fabulous. The strawberry margarita was excellent. It had lots of flavor, was a generous size, and affordable. The atmosphere was elegant, almost like a somewhat upper class Mexican place. Many Mexican places are tacky, but not this place. It’s nice.

Please be aware this place is not kid friendly. It’s a very small restaurant and does not have a kids menu. We have a 3 and 1 year old and would not take our kids here.

The tacos are phenomenal!!! I'd definitely go for the grilled queso on the bistek tacos again. The mole is just like I used to get from my "Mexican mamas" in Southern California: delicious. The margaritas are also fantastic. We'll definitely be coming back. The atmosphere is great. Not a great place for kids due to the small space and no kids menu, but a great place for adults. We also got the Nutella banana burrito for dessert.

Delicious food (i got the Mexican Torta). Excellent service. The margarita flight was a really fun experience (you can choose from 25 flavors, or let them surprise you).
